the amp is 600watts RMS @2 ohm... its a 400watt RMS 4ohm DVC Sub...
shouldnt that be more than enough power?

I misread and thought you were doing 2 subs.

im still thinking of going with the p series... im mulling it over.. i want to stay in the same series... i must have OCD or somthing... it all has to match lol... i have not had my door speakers installed yet and can still upgrade to k2p's then go with the better sub... its all about what i feel i can justify cost wise.. lets face it.. the v series stuff does sound great.. though the power series is a lil nicer.. its a lot more $$

Get the KP. It's got a lot nicer mid-range than V and not as much $ as the k2p. It's midbass is nicer than the K2P IMO.
