Unhappy Fun task of ripping system out of my car this weekend

Am selling my car, it's a 2003 Civic sedan. Just want/need something different/better. Not parting with my system, so have to rip it out this weekend.

Looking to buy (possibly, unsure as depends on what's available when my car sells) a 2003-2005 range Mercedes C230 Kompressor coupe, or a 2005-2007 Mustang 4.0

Issue, wife wants to be able to use my car more often, meaning she wants some trunk space. I'm trying to figure out how to still have bass, speakers in the trunk, without compromising 90% of the trunk like my Civic currently is with three 10".

Open to suggestions.

Tim

Hmm, interesting concept. Might be an option. Was thinking more along lines of a smaller box somehow, one 15" or two 12" maybe? Or build into the spare tire well, grills on speakers to protect anything getting loaded on top.

c230?wife n kids and shopping bags??Possible short future??lol
Good luck man..
My suggestion? Mustang. Take a measurment of the availible space in the trunk,(tire well etc) give the wife what she needs, in a compact square shape, stick to your guns. (Easier to calculate lol)
Add up what you have left, think ported, and find a sub to match availible space.
Gosh darn compromise

Yes, sort of mid-life crisis on the car, but that's mainly that the kids are 6 and 8 years old now, and no bulky car seats. I need a car with some get up and go for passing power, and not just a generic every day car that you see 10 of at any given intersection.

But still want my system installed into it, currently with the three 10", I have a fair bit of bass (prob not competing level for DB, never hooked to find out), so hoping not to lose out on DB switching down to a single sub. But a single 12" or 15" might pull it off and allow for room in the trunk.

Should be picking up my new car this weekend. Now to figure out some options. Much more trunk space. Car is a 2005 Saab 95 Arc.

Probably will part with my three 10" Kaption w/box, and go with two 12" in a smaller box somehow.

Morels will go in the factory dash locations, and the tweets in the pillars. Location to mount amps, not 100% sure yet. (and what to do about putting the KDC-X493 in the dash to replace factory radio)
