Fusion Car Audio
Hello everyone. I have been looking at Fusion car audio for maybe an upgrade, right now i currently have a Alpine system from hu, speakers, amps and sub(12inch) all type R. I was looking at going with a all Fusion Powerplant setup but i would like this to be alot louder then my current setup?
Thanks for any help

agreed. if you wanted to come even close to alpine using fusion, you would at least have to use the lomu series (which are discontinued).

well i have 2 of the new NV series subs, which replaced the Lomu line up...and i have to say that i am extremely impressed with these woofers and they, in my experience are far superior to the lomu series. thats just my experience and the guys experience at the shop i bought them from. Havnt heard much about them tho, and they claim i have 2 of the few subs that are even in Canada. if there NV Series component set is anything like there subs, i will definatly be purchasing them as an upgrade to my existing system. thats just my opinion on that stuff anyways, u were all bashing it thought id step in and say something positive...lol

No no we were not bashing it at all. However in my personal experience and opinion the Alpine gear is built to better standards then the Fusion gear. Hey I know we don't have to agree, but by any means was not bashing it.

Ya i know you wernt....I just couldnt think of a better word to use...lol...As far as im concerned alpine is great gear... My comments were more directed to hott-nix and his comment about even comming close. And none of my comments were meant to insult anyone or to start a battle or anyhting, sorry if it came off that way.
Also, i didnt read his hole post thoroughly(spelling). i didnt realise he was talking about "Upgrading" to the powerplant series. id say to you Justin3000 that if you were lookign at "Upgrading" your system that the NV line would be a far superior choice then the powerplant line.
It is all in preferance tho. All i was trying to get out is that there new line-ups are way diffrent then the fusion norm, and is actually some well built equipment. I dont know if it would compare to alpine or not, but its a lot better then what fusion has been producing in the past.
I would love for a tester to get there hands on some of the new woofers and compare them against some of the other subs there are today, since i myself dont have the tools or budget to do that and i havnt heard of anyone else using this stuff.

Wow thanks for all the replies guy's. As for the very first post i'm running a Ported box tuned to 30Hz i believe the box is 2.0 or 2.5Cuft. I didn't mean to start a war over fusion or alpine but everyone pretty much answered my question anyways, The answer from everyone is stick with alpine for the build quality or look into the top of the line fusion products. Which really helps i didn't want to have to drive 2.5hours to test/buy a product that i might not actually like.
So thanks to everyone that helped
