No that would be here, 5 managers in 2 years. The local FS will not sell me anything unless it is at full pop. Even after being nice to them for the first couple of months, still no complimintary deals. That said though, I get along fine with their installer and together we have worked through each others problems. As far as the sales staff go, they (thanks Tim [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img] ) need a throat punch.
Paul, at what point in time do you call free installation on every deck over $300.00 a limited time promo?
Free install should be outright banned and the corporate big box shmucks need to get together and sort that out like right now. Hmmm imagine the profit that would come out of the bay in that was the case. Great a Clarion cd player for $99 installed. [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/bs.gif[/img]

As for "free" install I agree that it should be banned. BUT the way I would do it would be to include the labour price in addition to the product price to present a total packge - YUP, I know that would impossible to addvertise but that is how we sell it in Lang.
eg:
Deck $299.99
Labour $50.00
Parts $40.00
Yes sir Mr. Customer we can install that deck for $400.00 before taxes and we can do that NOW for you if you like.

I worked full time on the floor at FS for a short time. I worked full time on the floor at Visions for a little bit longer time. I worked full time on the floor at a few independents for years.
