Gimme your Hifonics thoughts :)

Anyone here ever bought some of there stuff, I don't know much about them and how reliable there products are. But I might be interested in an amp of there's to power Morels and an 12" ID IDQ woofer.

The amp seems to be at a cheap price, it's an older amp so that might be 1 reason why. The RMS rating on the amp is exactly what I need for the components and 1 12" woofer.

Of course I would need to buy 2 of these, but still it's a good price so it seems...

Hifonics TXI 4008 2 x 100 @ 4 OHMS, 2 x 200 @ 2 OHMS, 1 x 400 @ 4 OHMS

RMS Power Rating:
4 ohms: 100 watts x 2 chan.
2 ohms: 200 watts x 2 chan.
Bridged, 4 ohms: 400 watts x 1 chan.

Hifonics sux, or good enough?

I've been runnin my TXi-1508D for over a year with no issues. Lots of power to work with and sounds good. It's not gonna compare to the majority of the amps you find at competitions and stuff, but for the price they are great.

Yeah the prices are pretty good. I don't need a high-end amp or anything so I think Hifonics would do the job quite well.

I have had a Hifonics now for 4 months and have had no issues with it. This includes several SPL comps.
