Check out this amp rack I made for a 99 Cougar.
This was done to apear factory.

The amp rack is done. Has basic ported box that I made for him for 2 type r 10's. Glassed wheel well to come over winter or spring. He also has over 50 square feet of b-quite in it.

Why try to make the back panel look stock and then attach a bunch of stuff to it?

i agree.

i think it would be a lot more stock appearing if you flush mounted the cap and amps then put a removable cover over them of the same material
