How much do those trunk setups cost? I know it really depends on components, but outside of the component cost, how much do those cost? And how long does it take? I don't think I'd ever go that extreme since I use my trunk, but some of the more tame setups look nice to me!

Selective Sound is doing the install on my Ford. It's a complete custom enclosure setup (and they just did my alarm on my daily today)

They seem to have a ton of cars in the show circuit, but deal with who you feel comfortable with.

unless you're thinking of competitions, i would stay away from too much custom work. None of those installs look very usable on a daily basis, I can see my snow brush punching a nice hole in those subs really quickly. As for any other hard, heavy, large objects(suitcase), forget about putting them in there. They look great but if you use your car for normal living...those installs are useless!! I'm a realtor, so i need my trunk for signs etc..., the best way to set up a trunk for actual usability is to keep as much of the equipment as far forward as possible. Here's a photo of my trunk, done by me:

We think alike! If I were do to mine, I'd follow your lead. But of course, I'd have to pay someone to do mine since I'm clueless. Any idea how much a setup like yours would cost to get done?

speakers are in stock locations, custom made sealed enclosure with amp rack attached to the back....probably about 500-700 bucks at a decent shop. Here's a few more photos:
