Seahag is selling an mtx amp that would do the job perfectly for those type rs as well...

My first system was a pair of Alpine ZR 10's getting 100 watts each off a Alpine MRV-T757. This set up sounded great and got surprisingly loud. The ZR's are somewhat like the type R's. I think if you can give them around 200 watts each you'd be happy. That is until you can get your hands on some big power [img]smile.gif[/img]

My buddy has a 300W MTX monoblock on a couple 12" R's in a 92 Blazer... gets quite loud off of that and it sounds decent. You don't need much power... I bet your amp that you got now (the 200s) should push it fine. Another friend has that amp running at 2 ohms all day long... it's really hot but it still goes for hours.
