Heya,

I'm planning on buying this combo:
Kicker 06ZX300.1 mono amp
(2 of them, each powered by its own ZIPPY 500w PSU and powering each sub separately. This PSU has 36A Output on the 12v Rail... Will this work? Amps use 12VDC right? So if i were to remove a molex plug and solder the amp to it, then short the green/black wire on the 24pin mobo connection to turn it on... will it work?)

The amps will be powering these:
Kicker 05DCVR104 CompVR vented 10" Subwoofers

For those who read my other thread, yes, i got pair of polk tower speakers (http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0665000FS10 039302&catid=) and used my 800watt JVC receiver (dont remeber model) and I admit, they are good, but it isn't wat i was looking for. The bass doesn't pound enough even with my Yamaha Qbass sub on. So I refunded the speakers and am deciding to get a car audio setup. Sorry if i let u down.

EDIT: Might be wise to add a better home theater sub instead of doing car audio...
