Good deal?

Hello i was wondering if 2 used 12" 12W3V3 subs with a ported box for $350 is a good idea to purchase.

I know they are great subs, but used a good idea?

If so, what should i look for other than tears and wear on the subs when looking at them before purchasing?

Thanks

Well it's not the deal of the century but if they look almost brand new it's not bad.

What impedance?

Make sure that you measure the impedance with a DMM before purchasing.

They are 4ohm and they are bridged together to make then 2ohm.

Just my opinion of course, but not a great deal by any means.

lol i know buying used is not the best, but i have a $300-$350 budget to get a box and 2 subs. I already have a 1200Watt Sony amp (not the best, but it still pumps out what it is rated for so i am good there).

I declined this offer because if i divide by 2 and add i am paying more than that big time.

... it is a lot of speaker for the money WITH a box. The question is is it worth it for you.

Or would a single higher quality (or even a W3) sub get you there under budget?

that sony amp is not 2 ohm stable and only puts out 200rms per channel in 4 ohms just so ya know maybe a good 12 in a ported box is your way to go as it is 500rms at 4 ohm briged

Get a pair of respectable subs, the Pioneer Premiere 12" are on sale right now. Have Jalat build you a box and you will probably come in under budget and above expectations.
