Hey guys, I just recently bought my system and would like to have it professionally installed (amp, front components, rear fills).

Please recommand some audio shops that will do a quality install and since I am new to this, I also want to find someone with less attitude... thanks!

dude if you go to kromer i beleive you going to end up paying 2-3 time the cost too when you could do it. i did and have no had a problem to date and better than install too cause i took my time and did a good job making sure what wire goes were. funny thing happened when i was in a futureshop bay and say them installing one. they just twisted the wires and electrical taped them. mmm cause for a short. would you not think. what i did was soldier all connection using a wiring harness and used shrink wrap on the connection.

Upgrading is almost inevitable in car audio so it would make sense to know how to do it in the future. It is soooo easy like extremez24 said. Just do some homework and get some ideas on where you want to place your components in the doors (take off the door panel and look around) and where you want the amp to be. Buy a wiring harness and mounting kit for your deck and your set. The instructions will be with the kit and the amp likely has the instructions in the owners manual. It really is easy and you will know more about your car and what you can do to it in the future.

Allthough I have only been working and trying to learn everything in the car audio industry for the last 5 years, I know from expreience that anything you do with your car (body work and mods, painting, car audio, electrical, engine, general upkeep) if you do it yourself it is a major learning experience, and a great reward when you learn something, and like other people say, with the support and input of people on this group you will get the help you need. As long as you know the basic of wiring (ground, and power) and how it works (trial and error), there are instructions for everything, and peoples past experience and opinions. So don't be afraid if you blow a couple amp fuses or speakers/subs, it just means you are on your way to learning better things just like computers (liking blowing up a few motherboards!)
The internet is a never ending library for education and pick up a few car audio mags, and hell go for it, cause then at least you can say you did it yourself, and thats worth alot. Since I am very interested in learning the basics UP of car audio and the ideas behide everything and electronics and sound, I was considering taking a course at the mobile dynamics school in the toronto or arizona area, allthough other than some features in car audio mags that I have read, I haven't heard any other direct feedback about the school, it might be something ???
