scarlemthug: Yeah, it's something like that. Actually I just checked the manual... it's also an RTA [img]smile.gif[/img] You put the mic near your headrest or whatever and close all doors and windows and then run the PEQ and start the measurement (the display comes up with the PEQ and the deck says 'Measuring' at the bottom). When it's done it displays the sound characteristics of the car.

Whats great is all the features of the deck. What's better is learning about more cool features you didn't know about until you bought the deck

I gurantee when you install the deck you will be blown away at how good it sounds right out of the box. Im gonna have to look into grabbing one of these possibly just for the mic. feature.
