Cops are "homos"??? WTF is that? The same cops that keep you and your family safe? There are many bad cops out there but there are many bad everything out there...doctors, lawyers, teachers...and I think we can do without the slurs on homosexuals...

I just wanted to comment on the speeding thing...I was paced by an UC cop and was given a ticket...you actually have a better chance of fighting the ticket if you were lasered because you can ask to see the calibraiton reports and stuff for the radar for that day...The cop never showed up to court so my ticket was dropped..but I just wanted to say that a cop can give you a ticket without a radar..

XCopper No non no no no...
Don't waste your money on them to fight a ticket like that. If any of your travel to the US, be very very very careful. The law down there is noise violation, is 50ft of the Vehicle. They actually have it specific called: "Loud Sound System Violation" |
ettore, keep your ignorant, thoughtless remarks to yourself. If you have a personal beef with the police fine, but there is no need for name calling the people who are serving the communities requests.

they were bored man the only thing you should do is fight the ticket what is the worst thing that can happen you pay! anyway i got the infomous causing an unnessary noise with a motot vehicle ticket. i shoud have fought but i made more money at work than the ticket was worth! in most cases the cop will not show as its not worth his time. you know what they say if its too loud your too old just hope the judge aint old just tell him if your mirors aint shakin you got takin! good luck dude db |
I always fight... it give you time to save up the cash to pay it.
Remember the ticket must be 100% accurate or it is thrown out. A lot of the mistakes happen when they write down the Vehicle Information. Here in Ontario, they have to write down the Make, Plate, and the STICKER YEAR. 90% of the time, the Sticker Year is wrong. Once before they put a S instead of a 5 for my license number and I got off for it. Look for any information you can use. Sometimes it is as simple as the road you were on is titled "Street" and they wrote "Avenue" It is enough to get you off. A tip, if you in a high traffic area, try and stop a little bit further up and pull out of the way of traffic. I once got off of a ticket because where the officer wrote the ticket (It was in a strip mall about 100 feet away from where I was tagged), he wrote the nearest intersection as the location of the ticket, which was the next light, where the zone was 70, not 50. |

none of that is true. I have a good buddy that is a cop, and they can get away with screwing up bad on a ticket. last week he had to go to court for a lady fighting a speeding ticket, where she was driving a car, and he accidently wrote p/u unstead of car. The lady mentioned it, and casey just got up and said "sorry your honor, i was tired, but i distinctly remember it was a car" and the judge said it didnt matter. the lady paid full price. Cops make mistakes, they arent gonna let you off on a small fact like that.

A traffic lawyer told me once that if the drivers copy of the ticket is not signed with ink, then the ticket is not valid.
