only buy one if you've got a ground loop, and have tried everything else.. May as well spend that money elsewhere.

I did have one for a while, but only because I needed it... horrible ground loop

They do cloud up the SQ of the system (I ended up using a very expensive Jensen to minimize the issue)

Some amp manufactures do not want them in the signal path (US Amps)

Hmm ok, well I just wanted to know, just in case somethin like this happens, Ill have the solution here... I just wanted to make a clean set up / sounding system. And I thought maybe this would help smoothin some thins. Im going to be running a Epicenter (audiocontrol) and a epic-150? with this eclipse deck.. So I dont know...

How bought what else could I use to smoothing out sound? And making a more crisp setup?

Thanks guys!!

Proper speakers mounted in the proper location. FYI the Epic 150 is an Epicenter, no need for both (which they are available separately as the Epic 150 and Epicenter). A good install with proper grounding should take care of the noise problems, if there are any.
