Guess my SPL
#1
I was at a SQ/iDBL show this weekend. It wasn't IASCA sanctioned but was modeled after a Street Smart event, using the IASCA disc. I had my SPL measured as part of the competition. What do you think I hit?
My gear:
Pioneer Premier DEH-P630 deck
Concept CC-752 amp x 2; 1 on sub, 1 on high-end. The sub amp is bridged to give 250W RMS into the sub.
8-10 year old Alpine 6015CX 15" sub. This was their 'reference' sub, made for SQ. It resides in a 2.8 cu. ft. tirewell enclosure ported to 33 Hz.
All in a 1990 Daytona. So what do you figure I got on SPL? The mic seemed quite accurate and some in the iDBL comp figured it might even be a dB or 2 low but they calibrated it so I think it was accurate.
And those who already know cannot reply
