Your article is just what local lawmakers need to start writing stooooopid laws (feel good laws) that will allow them to confiscate equipment, give tickets, and generally punish EVERYONE for a few numb-nuts behavior. This is happening all over the states, noise laws that have wording like "causes an annoyance" or "excessively loud". As we all know one persons "too loud" is another's "too quiet". it doesn't matter if you are 90 db or 130 dB outside your car it matters if SOMEONE doesn't like your music.
I have a very difficult time putting on shows in some areas due to this. You are just screwing yourself by banging in peoples neighborhood.

after reading that article i now know my new cruise spots haha
loud booming cars drive me nuts when they are on my road
