bose uses the reverse of the industry norm
industry norm used appropriate sized drivers for there effective range then crossout the frequencys it dosn't do will
bose uses on full range driver to do it all
bose then uses an eq to eq the shet out of it
to make a mediocer driver play full range

Every Bose owner, when backed into a corner, will dredge up the "legendary" 901 set. I take that opportunity to reflect upon why such an "amazing" set of speakers would need to be sold along with a dedicated equalizer..

I have a set of these speakers and they are alright but there is are many better speakers for less money. The 901s were good back like 10 years ago when everyone elses speakers didn't have nearly as much engineering in them as they do now. As for the bose systems in many vehicles, especailly gm cars the sound systems are not much better than the stock systems. The corvette is the best example, its sound system needs lots of help. Just my thoughts

Heard a few bose home theatres and they sounded tinny and harsh... I'll keep my KLH model 6 speakers
