actually the model of the amp is 300S and I am currently running a 4 ohm woofer...and could someone kindly explain what does "bd" mean?

You would either have to run the amp in stereo with one woofer on each channel or wire the woofers in series if you want to stay mono.
Either way - the PAIR of woofers will now only get HALF the power in total that your current single woofer gets. ie. if that amp is providing 300watts at 4 mono to your single woofer you will now get 75 watts for each of the pair of woofers.
Sounds like work and expense for nothing.
