Damn, can sure tell there's serious craftsmanship going into that, not just "let's build a bigass box for the hearse!".

But, I still think you shoulda made a coffin sub-box!

yea me n my friend always had a plan for a pimped out hearse with the back full of subs and the whole coffin box thing... unfortunatly we still dont have the money to make it happen lol!

I agree about the box to a certain extent - it's just a big ol' cube and in that respect fairly boring. It did take a lot of time to figure out how to jigsaw it into the car though so there was a bit of creativity in there. It has, IMO, some interesting aspects to it as well: tripple baffle with double back wall, full 2x4 cage and intermediate supports, and the vent is also the crossbrace for the sides.

Really though, the area with the seats and rear speakers took way longer to figure out and build.

The seats.. yep straight outta WalMart's boating section. They were the right colour (red's a little off but the grey is perfect), the right size, and most importantly, the right price. The kids like them and that's the only reason they're in there so it's all good IMO.

Ultimately though, I just like the car and wanted to do something BIG in it. Some people like it, others that come by the house won't even walk on that side of the driveway

Talking

Oh, and mention of the Human Reign. The car is likely going all MTX but I would love a pair of HRs for it. Canadian importer.. call me, let's talk

Oh yeah, forgot about the casket box thing.. I considered a casket box but, really, you're limited to just 4 15s, or 3 18s, or about 16 10s. Plus then I could not do the back seats, plus other people have done it and it's a little played out.

In the end the car is kinda over the top size wise so I wanted the system to be that way too and 6 15s fills my bill.
