what would cause excessive current to my amp. I have two punch hx2 powered by and alpine mrd m500. i really need help iv tried every thing i could. thanx

What exactly do you mean by excessive current?
Do you have dimming issues? If so check grounds.

this alpine amp is digital and it comes up with a e-3 error. the only thig i did was add the second sub. if i just play one its fine but both it justs cuts out

Are they dual voice coil subs? The amp probably can't handle a 1 ohm load.
