Hey guys,

I need an amp that will do NO MORE than 1800 watts rms into 1 Ohm. That my power cutoff

I've found an AudioBahn 18001D

PLEASE HELP ME FIND SOME MORE...

It will be powering 1-15" INHUMAN

My friend ONLY NEEDs 0.4 Dbs to break a State record. The amp he has now is a Power Acoustik 1600 it only does 1200 W @ 1 Ohm.

WILL A ROCKFORD FOSGATE Bd1500 or 1501 run a 1 ohm load and if so what kind of power could I expect ????????

No..........because

IT CAN'T BE OVER 1800 watts RMS or PEAK

He's already going to cut another 1" off the port length but.......
& if he adds another 600 watts to the sub it should be able to get at least a half a Db

He needs to get a 149.3 Db

Visonik 900xd or equavalent MA audio/cliff designs 'class X' amp...

Theyll do 1500RMS @ 14V with headroom up to 1800RMS
Feed em 17V and they'll do the 1800RMS continuously....

Best of all they are more effecient then your average class-D.... probably won't pull any more current then his PA amp is now.... maybe even less...

US Amps 2000X. I'm only saying that because it makes no sense when you say "IT MUST NOT EXCEED 1800 watts RMS or PEAK"

I think you're just trying to find a 'close to equal' amp to complement your already amped subs. I don't see it often done, and since every amps rating can cheat in either favour, there's no way of matching up 2 different amps with the same power rating.
The reason for you wanting a limit on power isn't explicit, that's why I have to assume a reason.

Wait a minute, I looked back and he only has one sub. Poo, that's not going to work using 2 1 ohm stable amps running at 2 ohm. I'm....just....going...to....leave now.
