Help me choose- Eclipse vs Kenwood vs Pioneer
So I just got my 08 Altima the other day. Now I am looking at In dash navigation units (I'd like the navi to be built in so I dont have to spend another 2-300 on buying a module). So far I have 3 in mind.
The eclipse AVN5510, the Pioneer BT-900T, and the Kenwood DNX5120. I want the DNX8120, but $1000 is just way out of my price range. I am looking to spend up too $600. All of these units fit the price range.

I really like that the Eclipse is a 7" full screen, but I haven't had any experience with eclipse head units. These are all going into an 08 altima 2.5 S. Have any of you had any experiece with these units? Also what do you have? how is it? how much did you get it for, and from where?
Also I am looking on Sonixelectronics for all my stuff, if you have any other sites with low prices let me no. Im from Canada BTW.
Options I'm looking for: Navigation, back up camera, good sound quality, built in cross over, and a good looking unit.
Thanks for your help.

Are you open to some options locally that make far more sense financially and warranty wise? The first two units you have listed are discontinued and have zero warranty in Canada. In the case of the Eclipse it is 2 years old and has 2 year old mapping. The Pioneer is painfully slow to boot up (well documented as well). Want info, add me to msn or pm me.

Its expensive locally. I am from Canada and the marks up here are ridiculous. As for warranty, all these units come with warranty from the seller, I have already verified this. Second, they are not discontinued on the internet.
Do you no if I can update the eclipse mapsÉ I cant find any information about how good the maps are, except for 1 review.

If you buy from USA warranty is most likely for USA only, since you're in Canada you're out of luck and that US seller can stop BS'ing you. And with US currency so far ahead of CAD, and when you're done paying shipping, duties, and possible brokerage, you wont be saving much and you'll have no warranty.
p.s. I would go with Eclipse
p.s. I would go with Eclipse

Ecplise nav 6620
Hi highly recommend Rob.
I got the Eclipse 6620 for my wife's car. Without a doubt, the wow factor is top notch. Sound quality, I haven't had time to adjust yet but all reviews say it is supposed to be one of the best on the market. Video is nice, but kids can't see it from the back seat, so they still need their portable video player. The passenger on the other hand can now watch the movie with the kids.
The navigation, compared to my Garmin 620 is a few generations behind. First, you are limited to inside the vehicule. You can't take it inside to compare different routes the night before and can't talk about it with friends at the kitchen table. Ecplise nav is not that user friendly. Anyway, not nearly as much as Garmin. No postal code search and not nearly as precise as Garmin. If I had to do it again for the navigation, I would prefer the portable.
But if you are going for the video option and the Wow factor, yah, it's a winner.

Haha
As for the rest of my car audio, I am seriously considering him (of course after I look around for the best prices I can get). He gives his honest and straight-forward opinon, which I can respect.
