Just picked this up. Anyone have experience with these subs? It's coming with a membrane for an aperiodic box but not sure if I'm going that route.

As you know I have two Aliante 12" LTD, which I bought from Powerline Electronics in Guelph, Ontario. The Aliante has a fairly flat freq response so it won’t attract most buyers because it doesn’t stand out sonically. The 15" you bought has a sensitivity of 93dB very good! Another thing you will find is the cut out spec is crazy large, the magnet takes up the entire cutout area so if you buy a prefab box be prepared to enlarge the cutout. The Aliante isn’t known for winning SPL competitions but it is more than competent. And the 15” can go as high (300 Hz) as every other Aliante driver but it can go down to 15 Hz … that’s crazy. I have sealed boxes and it does quite well for me.
