help please !!! deh-p400

my stero system, deh-p4000 will not take cd's in, they will eject them, but no take them in.. !!! why si this ??? any help is much appreciated and will go rewarded.

reset it, if not the little arm/sensor is jammed and is around $120 to repair at a pioneer repair center.

We could probably fix that for under $100. Bring it in for a free estimate. S & S Electronics.

hmmm

i wouldnt have a clue how to reset it ??? just remove the power maybe ???

take off the faceplate. there will be a little pin sized button recessed on the ehad unit. (or sometimes on the fron of the faceplate) take a pin and push that button.

hmmm

reseting it did nothing im not even sure it was the right hole, it almost looked like a sensor so i didnt mess with it..... other then that whjen i take the face plate off i see no pin sized holes.

i dont, but have a box full if you want you can have them, they are just taking up space as far as im concerned

it is an 8-9 year old head unit. time for an upgrade
