I'm a newbie to car audio. I have a Samsung CQ-C8400U deck that stopped working in my 1995 VW Jetta. I bought the deck from 2001 Audio Video about 2 years ago. It seems like the internal amplifier in the unit is not working. I don't want to go buy a whole new deck if I can avoid it. Can a part be replaced or repaired for affordable price? What are my options? Thanks.

 

As soon as a repair shop touches that deck it will be at least $80-100.

Buy a new deck.

 

it sucks just needing to have a part repaired and it cost that much. when I bought this deck it cost around $400. does anyone know where I can get the same deck used or a similar one that will work with my existing wiring, and my JBL sub and external amp?
