ok so im looking to sorta kinda do some installs on my car(this stuff will most likly not happen soon) k i was lookin at crappy tire nad i saw this AM/FM Signal Amplifier is thier a better one some where else that i could get. cause this is the only one that i could clearly see that it would amplifi my radio. and would it acttually do this and if so would i be able to get edmonton stations out here. and thiers this will it help with distortion

are you running the stock radio? or and aftermarket?and you want better reception?

I don't have any experience with this one, buy it, try it out and if it is crap, return it. Cantire has a good return policy.

i got a stock deck. i got good reception i just want to be able to get edmonton stations out here

ok try regrounding the hu.

my mom always complained of bad reception in her 2001 hyundia alantra.hyundia told us to buy a new radio and said lots of ppl complained of the reception. so i pulled the dash appart and re grounded the hu to the nearest bolt i could find.
and now she can pick up we can pick up the AM stations from edmonton cristal clear here is saskatoon.it also fixed alot of noise problem(like when you had the fans on high)

i solved the probem in 1/2 and hour and it didnt cost anything.

its worth a shot hope this helps

ouch k im tempted to go do this. only one tiny set back. whats the hu. is thier a place i could search for a wiring diagram of this wire.

acctauly im going to wait tell after xmas and do this. just so i see what i all got for my car and this way i can do the instalations all at once. and any ways my dad won't let me use the tools(grumpy old man).

the ground wire is alwasy black.replacing the antenna and the wire attached to it will also improve reception bit its a little tricky to to do.

k well i did some talkin to me old parents and im going to go work the old beast of a car. ill post back here in about an hour or so and tell ya my progress
