Thanks for all of your informative replies. I'm glad to know that this is a brand that people have heard of. Yeah, I guess it was quite an exaggeration by the salesman to say there were only 2 stores in Canada! Anyway, thanks for the other brand suggestions as well. I will look into Focal as a few of you suggested them.

A guy from a store called Sound Advice in Steinbach, MB just kept trying to push them on me by repeating that they were from Italy over and over, and as if it meant he couldn't push down the price on them either.

A Focal is from France, so we can have a wine and spaghetti feast and call it a day. Morel and Focal are also top notch speakers that should get some serious considerations.

We sell hertz audio here in Regina there nice speackers we mainly work with the high energy stuff. the stuff has been bulit proof works well I have 6 of there energy 8" in my car they perform really well.

Hey, i run the 5 1/4 Energys in my truck and they sound damn good to my ears. There is a shop in kitchener that has all 3 component lines on display if you would like to hear them. Naural sound is the name of the shop. Should be a 45 min drive at the most for ya. I think they also sell focal... but dont quote me on that one...
