well iv heard prettywell the whole hertz lineup by now and i have heard this amp... depending on what you wantit for is key... all i have to say is in this amp.. when we thought it was reaching peak volume it kept going and going and just boatloads of power and a sexy looking amp at that!

if you are entertaining getting this amp also remember there is the KD model with 900W rms more power and there is no substitute for power

hell my very distant dream is running all monoblocks in my car and throwing 1000rms at every speaker lol.... what a dream eh lol

I heard these amps on the wall at EHR a little while ago, but not enough to form an opinion. I prefer regulated amps, so to meet my criteria they failed right there. They looked solid and the design is nice and clean. Kinda big amps for those who like their smaller footprints that are gaining popularity these days. Hertz are made by same people as Audison, so based on that I imagine these amps are really good.

ya man, i run a hpkd1 hertz i power 2 15s spl series subs made from hertz in a ported box the car has seen 150 db running 2 ohms at about 80% gain .this year we will unload the full 3200 rms@ 1ohm to the new hertz 15s.the design and build quality is wicked...
i peeked inside the case.it is obvious hertz is about details.i also have the hp5 running 8 inch mids off 1 channel and i love the flexibility of tuning for my 4 way components.

cheers..
