Cool

Just wanted to introduce myself, this is my first post here.

I'm a regular on a few of the other forums out there (particularly CAF), you know each one has it's own particular bent and/or flavor.. what's up with this one, any particular niche?

I thought I'd register, since I recognized some of the names, and since I live actually on the Canadian border, seemed close enough?

Actually, I attend some of the shows in Ontario, particularly the ones that end up in the Expo center in Toronto, although there's some littler stuff (and a cool cruising scene) in Niagara Falls (Ont, not NY).

And I've always said (not that I stereotype) that Canadians are bigger car audio nutcases than us Americans are.
No really, that's a compliment,it is!

Anyways, what do you think of this forum here?
Thanks in advance...

I don't know if we have a niche . . . maybe a bit of that small hometown feel. Most people know each other here and have laughs at the expense of each other. All around a good place to come and learn about car audio, and to share your knowledge.

Oh yeah, stay away from the "Interesing. . ." thread, its gotten a little bit crazy

Believe me, I've participated in the "interesting" thread on other forums... it's pretty clear who was negligent, and their original actions actually give away their true original intentions, in my opinion (or maybe... in my observation? ).

So you wouldn't say this forum is more SQ based, or more SPL (competition) based, or more boomer based?
How about young guys (I mean high school) vs. old guys?
More eastern guys than west coast, or vice versa?
How about that pesky rogue Quebec anyway?
Etc..

Anyway, the quick replies, this must be a pretty quick moving forum, that's cool.
Thanks for the welcome!

I'm pretty much directly west of Niagara Falls kind of in the middle between St.Catharines and Welland but I go to school just north of Niagara Falls

Don't go to Fort Erie/Buffalo much unless I'm driving through that area to go skiing

BTW if you ever go to the casino I can tell you which slots to play

Stay away from the "Interesting..." thread?

Hell, I thought that was our niche! In fact, being a member of CCA for well over a year, I've actually never posted in the General forum until that topic came up, hell, I never even READ General!
