Large spectrum of ages. From the "old as dirt" (Dukk) to the not so old (I have no idea who the youngest is)

Pretty good crowd, large array of knowledge and questions asked.

well, I probably fall in the middle here then...
I don't think 29's too old ;) I'm still a teenager at heart, I volunteer teaching skateboarding lessons at a local skatepark, and I'm always picking up new things to learn (two years ago it was freestyle and BMX biking, and this year is kitesurfing).

I'm co-founder and R&D for Better Audio, which we're just getting off the ground - for both of us company founders, it's simply a hobby gone out of control, this seemed like a great, challenging, productive outlet. It'll be a fully internet based, direct sales manufacturing company... we're being intentionally quiet about things right now, as we plan investments... so nothing yet, no dates yet. ;)

I've always been into the SQ end of car audio, although it's definitely a fascination of exactly how the big "boom" happens inside a car that first drew me into car audio... it always was the physics of it all, I guess... <<geek smiley here>>

Honestly, more than actually owning something that might be deemed sonically perfect in one way or another, I enjoy the challenges of car audio... manipulating acoustical physics inside a car. The very thing that home audiophiles would claim makes car audio suck.

I like experimentation, whether that's in the interests of SQ or SPL (although I think due to the simple finesse, SQ is more challenging, more exciting).
It's fun trying to find cracks in history, paths that haven't been fully explored before, or maybe old paths that become more feasible due to modern technologies.
It's fun for me hypothesizing, and experimenting to see if I can take advantage.

It's fun, the challenge of taking something that does undoubtedly inherently suck, from an acoustical standpoint (a car interior), and making those little discoveries that negate some of those factors.
It's fun seeing how other people attempted improvements in the past.

I've got an admittedly ugly personal web page, where I've written a few things, collected a bunch of links, and documented some of the successful experiments... I'll be revamping it all soon (I always say that :D ):

Just if anyone is interested.

I'm sure that's way more about me than anyone cares to really know anyway... but there it is.
