Its a good amp. Used those running for my sub. No problem at all. Though it still depends on how powerful you need for your system.

They DO NOT put out rated power. I would suggest if you plan on running that xcon @ 1 ohm, to pickup an amp that does 2krms+ from the hifonics line.

Also make sure your electrical is up to snuff

well whoever reads it, there is only one vehicle around here that I know of that has 20k in a daily system, and I'd guess its gonna be at the show on the 24th in brap!-ton

what kind of electrical would be needed? would the big 3 and a good battery be good?

The brand new BRZ series brutus amps, look very promising and well built, they are also all CEA rated.

Anytime you want a listen hit me up. I'n in Rexdale 401 and Dixon area. Yeah they will not do rated power. I went from an 1100rms Memphis to 2000rms Brutus and only gained 0.6 dbs. Did not notice a difference in the Sq switching them.

If they are CEA rated... it should make its ratings. Overall a decent amp that is not the most efficient but good all around

I would be more concerned with the used aspect of an SPL amplifier, it may have had a hard life ... I have never seen one go up in flames before during or after a show so they are reasonably well built.
