History of car audio on Speedvision right now

Cool to hear about some of the origins of car audio, the dude advetising for Custom Autosounds was a bit much though. Wayne Harris said the Terminator had a cd player, in 1984, that must have been one of the first ones I guess? That dork with the PT Cruiser had a horrendous install, Boss amps and other stuff, I wish they had shown something worth looking at in more detail, rather than that thing. My favorite part was seeing the Terminator. Love that car and it's gear The worst part was PT Cruiser with all that Boss crap, cheezy neon work and the screens everywhere. Under the hood! Lame. Both the guy from Custom Autosound and that guy from Antique Auto Radio were a little much. Obviously guys who aren't really all that in-touch with modern car audio and still think 100 watts is WHOPPING POWER! See that spare tire sub? It's an old Pioneer unit with a 5 1/4" 'subwoofer'. They haven't made that in years I don't think.

Yeah, did you see how proud that guy was of that thing, that's funny you just can't get on most comedies.
I also liked how they were talking about how affordable stuff was, and they were showing a vehicle with two monitors molded into the dash, with motorized PG amps. I can't wait for the next customer who wants a budget system to come in and ask about that!

That Johnny Rae from Custom Autosound cornered me in the booth at CES.. that stuff is damn cheesy the controller and remote for the "Secret Audio" system looks likes top quality KOSS equipment.. I was very unimpressed with him and the product to tell you you truth.
I enjoyed watchinmg the show however... The Terminator ROCKS
