I dont' mean to bring a dead thread back but thought it was best instead of reposting a new one.

My initial question at this point is, is there a website I can find information on wiring and such to do get a head start on what to do when it comes to building/wiring my 6x9's, amp(s) and the 2 subs to work with a tv and/or computer?

All wiring details including the details on how to wire the speakers inside their boxes would be great if anyone has it.

Thanks.

Rob Watt (Hiredgoon/Chaos/quazed) did the exact thing you wanted to do. Get a hold of him and I'm sure he'd help.

You wire it just like you would in your car, no different everything would connect to the deck the same. No real effort is needed. As for getting a tv to work you would need a deck with an audio in option or whatever it is called on a deck.

setup in my room...
1, sony 360 watt 3-disc CD/reciever/tape deck
+ 1, MA audio 12'' sub (XS cargo, where else?!)
+ 1, industrial 900W amplifier (like the ones used in stores and malls for the crappy ceiling speakers)
+ 1, homemade MDF sub box (~2cubes, 2 ports)
= enough bass to rattle the entire house from top to bottom.
IT REALLY WORKS!

Awesome Coffey! I wanna do that with 2 10" Type R Alpines, Alpine CDA 9827 MP3 Deck, and 2 6x9 Blaupunkt speakers. Of course an amp to power it.

I went to Forset City, and for a 46amp constant current was like 200$...**** I am better off just getting a plate amp for my sub then using a car amp..

/\

Makes alot more sense. Might as well use something designed to be used in a home in a home than use something built to work in a car to work in your home.
