Was looking around and found this
http://www.creativesound.ca/details.php?model=SUB250R
Good? bad? can i find more for less elsewhere? Anyone here know about this stuff? It looks like a good deal to me. I have a couple crappy 10" subs with 100w amps and they are even too loud but i wanted to try a single 12 or 15 tuned real low, maybe even try a bandpass. Am i right in thinking that 360w rms in a home sub will be stupid loud?

That price isnt bad considering the remote feature.... I wouldn't call 360rms and 2 10s or whatever stupid loud.. but it should be enough to have your neighbours complaining...

I was thinking about picking up this amp too, so if anyone has any experience with it, speak up!

By the way, solen.ca has the same amp for cheaper....don't know what it would come to with shipping though.

I didn't even look at the amp in question.

I will contradict Haunz however(because I can)

I personally have a Cerwin Vega 12" home sub that only makes around 150WRMS(the amp makes the power, not the sub) and it get's damn loud. Not 125 DB or whatever the bar is set at for home theatre, but enough to shake plates and stuff hanging on the walls around the house.

I'd say 360 and a 15 would be pretty sick if it was built right.

I had to put 4kw on 4 ported 12s in my house before I was happy...

yea, well my Wilson Alexandria's just don't sound right without 2500 pounds of subwoofer, but I keep a pair of those CV 12's as dedicated midbass drivers.

I just bought the exact same model from there. It arrived stupid fast(3-4 days). Very happy with it. I've had it running so far...an IDmax 12, TC 3HP 15, & a TC LMT15.

I'm sure it will be plenty loud enough for ya. I damn near shake out windows with it on either of the 15's(not your average 15's though). People still shat when it was on the max, but I never tried it sealed, only ported. I'm liking running sealed enclosures in the house lately.

Just a thought....does anyone know for sure that the output is 360watts RMS (at 4 ohm)? I realized that it doesn't say if it's RMS or peak.

All I know is that even when I ran it @ 8ohms on a single IDmax 12 ported, people were like.... "holy phu** why would anyone buy a home theater sub from say Visions, when you can make your own perform like that. "

Plenty enough ***** for MOST people's home theater....JMO
