I am in the midst of completeing my competition stereo for this year in my crx and am looking for any imput.. I live in canada and there are only a couple of events around my area so its mainly for personal enjoyment. here is the gear in it...

1984 Crx:
2- Earthquake 10,000 amps
1- Earthquake 800 amp
500 watt 5.25" earthquake components
18" RE Mt Series Subwoofer
Ported box with tuned ports
2 deep cycle batteries

This system will be used in db drags under street class "C" Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

 

Do you think the MT will be able to handle 20,000 watts for burps?

 

I believe it could handle more.. But the shop setting it up said it should be extreme!! I am not to sure of there specs but . I was told they could handle lethal amounts of power!! This is more of a daily driver but I might go later with 2 15" earthquake hollees but I will ahve to see what it sounds like!! I hope to be at the castlegar event in june with it!!
