How do you cut your Subwoofer holes ???

run your subs free air, this eliminates any wood working and cutting.

Thats kinda funny since you just replied to a chick that does spl

Jigsaw ftw lol.. drill hole , put jigsaw in, and cut real slow.

You don,t need to use a drill if you use a jigsaw , you just gotta have a little skill .

Jasper jig with router; hole saw for ports/terminal holes. The Jasper is a God-send...

So i do SPLzd to what is your point? I ran free air last year, way easier.

It's like $80 at Home Depot, much easier for making holes.

I used to use a jigsaw but now use a rotozip. Rotozip is far better for small diameter holes (like for aeroports) but for large holes the saw works equally as well as the rotozip. The only big problem with rotozip is the bits are pretty expensive and when using it on 3/4" MDF they get dull, overheat and then break pretty quick. Don't expect to cut more than one or two sub holes with one bit cause it will break. You gotta buy alot of them is you plan on having a box with two subs and 4 aeroports lol. Its definately cheaper to use a jigsaw. I make the circle by using a piece of wood, put a screw in the middle and cut a hole in it the size of a pencil at the radius I want and then trace out a perfect circle.
