not including the cost of your car or install - How much have you spent on your current set-up?

And - did you set-up for SPL - SQ - or General I'm happy with what I have?

I think I am up to 2.3k and currently my set up is pissing me off cuz everything is crap but I will soon be setting up for spl.

 

ive spent around 1000 for what i have right now

 

it think i'm low but not all of it is in yet and i'm looking at new amps

 

Under $1500 and it sounds very nice and pretty damn loud for a daily driver. That's deck/3 amps/subs/components/deadener/wiring/box/materials

get used... it feels good

 

WOW - so far, 4 people have spent over 4 grand on a general set-up

 

Over 4k... on spl

 

If you do your research and have the time and experience in to know your stuff it's really easy to build a great system for cheap.

Eclipse 8053 (demo)- $275
Orion comp (great oldschool find)- $50
MB Quart amps (used two months, perfect condition)- $500
OZ Matrix Elite subs (NIB)- $350

So for less than $1200 you're left with gear that has huge potential and from there it's all in the install.

 

i have spent about 6 k i do spl and sq this is including deck, dvd player, screens, subs, amps, eq, wire, caps, batteries, alternator(cant spell), distro blocks, all that stuff adds up. and quick.
