I got 1000 rms going to my subs, and soon to be 200 rms to my front stage.

In the work truck:

2 X 150w for component sets
2 X 300w for midbass
1400 for subs

In the wife's Aerostar:

2 X 90w for front comps
2 X 15w for rear fill
1 X 700w for subs

All ratings are RMS power...there is headroom to spare.....

It's enough for now....

My latest setup will have:
2200 watts RMS to the subs
75 watts to the tweets
75 watts to the Midrange
300 to the midbass

so thats 3100watts RMS with all 10 channels driven. And I dont even expect to hit 135db!

SQ system:

Mid/Hi.......... Speaker efficiency: 96db 1w/1m Amp power: 35W x 2 (Vacuum Tubes)
Midbass....... Speaker efficiency: 88db 1w/1m Amp power: 220W x 2 (Mosfet)
Subwoofer....Speaker efficiency: 98db 1w/1m Amp power: 350W x 2 (Bipolar)

Total: 605W x 2 = 1210 wrms

1260 Watts RMS pushing two Kicker 12 inchers
120 Watts RMS pushing two 6 1/2 fronts
120 Watts RMS pushing two 6 1/2 rears

1500 Watts RMS total.

I gave up my comp car so I started building myself an ultimate cruiser..

I've got ~1200RMS inside the car (4 hcca component sets) and 8000RMS to my subs. Doesn't get up that high very often, unless someone else is trying to show off what they got - then it's on
