like i said waiting on results. but its been said that it is consistent with a good dmm. and close to the tl. waiting for final actual spl readings for my opinion.

I googled kriss to what they were about... definatly an electret based mic, which are generally inexpensive... and for $20 that is probably all you get..... for the mic with preamp I see them advertised at $600 us online...
