what is a good Head Unit to buy? I dont want a mess of features, but i want it to play mp3's! I dont care about looks, so i was thinking going with a Blaupunkt. Ugly but they are good recievers from what i hear, the mp3 playback on them is fast... the guy at my install shop has had his in his car for a couple years now and he saus it works like a charm everytime he turns it on! I'm just looking for something good quality that plays mp3 and not a whole lot of crazy features. any help would be great
thanks

my dealer gave me last years high end model for a good deal and i took it back after a week, and when i switched the decks the difference was unbelievable.

^ I second that. I put a KDC-X659 Excelon in my van a couple of months ago, and it has been a great addition to my system. It has enough features to keep me busy at stoplights, and one of the things I really like is about it is the ability to mute the internal amp for better SQ. I tried turning it on and off while listening, and it makes an audible difference. The price was reasonable, it looks nice in the dash, and I would recommend it to anyone.
