I wear glasses to read but I don't need them to drive. When I'm driving I have trouble reading the display on my Clarion 835 so I'm thinking of selling it and buying an Alpine like my son has.

What is a perfect condition one year old 835 worth?

Try adjusting the contrast on the HU or reverse the lcd lighting, might help.
