Well, saturday O bought a new digicam, cause mine sucks.... ($600 gone, on a Minolta Dimage Z2) ... then sunday I saw what looked to be a good price on a CDA-9835 ... got it brand new, from a local shop for $587 + tax (15% tax ) Well, I'm happy.... it's my first Alpine deck, I got rid of my Pioneer DEH7300, in hope to buy a Pioneer 940 .... but alas, the beauty of this deck got the best of me. I'm putting it in the car this weekend, but since my car is 'sleeping' till Sept. I wont have a chance to get to really play with it. I also dont want to put my amps in yet, cause I have no amp rack yet since i tore it out when i had to put my car to sleep for a year! Anyways, the radio will be in, and I'll be able to play for a bit to try some features out, but I cant wait till I get all my amps back in there!

Anyways, Long story short, I spent too much money this weekend! And while I'm at it, any rave reviews about this deck?

Anyways, enough about my sleeping car.... what about my radio! Good buy at that price? What sold me on it over the 9833 was the display.... looks much easier to navigate and use menu options.... (the difficult menu options have been detering me from Alpine)

I just spent $250 in 3 days. New dvd player. Knukoconcepts distro block and my repair bill for my alpine deck. Thank god I start working soon.
