so a buddy and i were bored yesterday, so we headed over to the weekend flea market. i found a guy selling an older Cadence 7000HC 2 channel amp. it's about 2 feet long and it says something and weighs all of 10-12 lbs. does anyone know anything about this amp, can't find anything on a search. or any idea what it should be worth, i think he is asking a little much, but i think if it works, it would be a god amp to put in my winter car.

no, the entire top and side have heatsink fins, and it has a small cadence logo dead center.

I think most of the Cadence amps are pretty beefy, maybe ask Chadxton he is pretty familiar with the Cadence lineup......

Yeah those were nice amps. I think they were rated at 700 or 900rms at 4ohms bridged. They are also the same as the Sweet Poison amps.

it doesn't really look like the one in that pic, but it is similar. i looked at the bottom and all over it and it didn't say what it was rated at. maybe i should just buy it and get it tested lol.

It is the same heatsink but a gray colour. They were the same amps but with a diferent name. Contact Cadence for the specs. They WERE good amps and made over 700rms, might even be 900rms. How much were they selling it for?

it's either the A7000, A7000+ or A7000HC...not Z7000, it will start with an A.

it is an a7000hc to be exact. he said he wants $400 for it but i kinda find that steep for that old of an amp. and yes it is dark grey.
