I have a clarion DRZ 9255, http://www.clarion.com/usa/products/...s/DRZ9255.html
It has an optical port for input or output.
I have the necessary cable from clarion and have figured out how to make the DRZ work with the optical output from a PC that I have in my car.

Now everything is good except that the head unit
Will not turn on the optical input without something
Connected to the CeNET port.

Here is the challenge, to find a way to tell the head unit that there is something connected to the CeNET
Port. So the head unit will receive the optic input.

So far the only way would be to connect the changer and not the optics from the changer but from the PC. This would be a waist of a changer but just take up more space.

I am hopeful that someone has some experience with the CeNET interface, and will be able to help with this.

Could you not just use a ce-net cable and plug it in without a changer?

does it need the remote power wire to get the power on?like an amp.
then the optical port know there is something there when DRZ has power. i do not think the optical port can power something on .it will Input/Output not power on/off the (remote wire or the power antena wire)

yes /no/ maybe
