I got a new 12" exile sub...now i need an amp...?
I got a brand new XPE12D 12" 4 ohm DVC exile subwoofer 600W RMS - 1200W PEAK Which Amp Would anyone reccommend and/or can anyone tell me the specs of a good amp to go with this sub?

I'd suggest something that does between 600 and 800 watts at 2ohm. You'll wire the voice coils in parallel.

Anything from a reputable brand should suffice.

CG, I've purchased a subwoofer and front component speakers for my wife's car from MR2NR. I, amongst others, will recommend his expertise.

first off is it a dual 4ohm voice coil or is it the single 4ohm version

Actually, JL Audio as well. those Amps are real power as opposed to the others.

i have a pair of those subs on my 1200 pioneer amp. The dealer at 604autosound said that people where pumping 2-3 times the rated power and they held up no problem.
