I have no idea what I am doing but I am looking for a sub and amp for my car

like I said in my title I have no idea about car audio really but I recently purchased a little daewoo hatchback which will pretty much act as a commuter car to and from college for the next year. The car came with a Pioneer DEH-P6700MP head unit, it has the stock front 4 inch speakers, and some sony 5.25's in the back (not the best by a long shot but they seem to do the trick).

Now here is where the problem comes in I would really like to add a sub to the mix which means I will be needing an amp. But thats as much as I know really, I would really only like 1 sub just to conserve some space in the back. I was looking at getting a 10 inch sub but now looking at 12 inch ones I was wondering if overall sound quality will decrease if I get a 12 instead of a 10, I say this because I am looking for nice clean bass if that even makes sense.

Then I have to get an amp which even seems more complex. I don't know if I should get the amp hooked up to all 4 speakers plus the sub or just the sub and if that is even possible.

Then comes the sub box, I have no idea what the differences in sq are between vented and non vented and what I should even look for in one.

Okay well there is my situation, I pretty much want a sub that will create crisp bass, I don't need anything that will make my car vibrate apart but would still like it to put out some good boom. I would like to try and keep the project under $600 if at all possible but a little more is tolerable.

Also I live near Edmonton, Alberta and was wondering if anyone new of any good shops if town with good prices and also good installation costs if possible (I am sure I could find a friend to do it if needed). The only shop in the small city I live in, from what I have heard is very very pricey so I would be will to make the drive to edmonton for a good deal.

Well here is what I have been looking at(remember these are very early and I have no idea what i'm doing ):

Box (available in 10 and 12)( a little more pricey than I would like to spend on the box) :

I have absolutely no idea about the amp, there seems to be way too many features that I don't understand:

So yah I would really like hearing some of your guy's opinions and any help you can offer me. If you need any more info just ask.

Thank you for absolutely any help you can offer me

talk to one of the dealers on the site for some equipment they could hook you up much better than best buy.
