I am new to both car audio and this forum but anyway i got a 1000 watt mb quart amp and i hooked to up the same way.i had my other amp and it worked but then i wired my subs down to 1 ohm because the amp is supposed to be 1 ohm stable but now it makes my subs push out as far as they go and then it goes into protect mode. i put it back to 4 ohms and it still wont work so what did i do wrong did i fry it can it be fixed i need help.

 

Whats the name and model of the sub and other amp?

Did the amp go into protect when you wire it back to 4 ohms?

 

Is there a chance that when the subs were rewired that the load dropped below 1 ohm?
