I think I'm in over my head!!!:confused::rolleyes:

My new system in progess for 2011. I've recently own a couple 2010 Orion hcca 15.4 and I was quite impress with it. Not thinking clearly decided to buy two more. Lets put it in simple terms

2 Soundstream xxx6500d powering 4 2010 Orion Hcca 15.4 Subs

2 Soundstream Ref4. 920 amps powering 8 Soundstream SST-804N midbass drivers

1 Soundstream Ref4. 760 powering 2 sets of Alpine Spx 17Pro

1 Soundstream Ref4. 400 powering 4 sets of sst-05 bullet (8)tweeters

Kinetik HC 1800 and 5 Kinetik HC 3800
All monster 400 series speaker and audio cable
4/0 Welding Cable and much more

Vehicle 2003 Acura Tls with a 220Amp high output alternator

My question:
1: Is my car capable of powering this system?
2: If it is do I have enough battery bank?

1) Are you competing or is that a daily driver?
2) When your car is running, the alternator is powering your system, not the battery, so if you are using a stock alternator it would be wise to buy a bigger one. Of course, if you burp only then this point is null and void...

This is for daily use and maybe i might decide to come out for competition. Oh and that alternator I have is the highest I could get for my car which I perchase at excessive amperage.

Due to lack of space I don't think it is possible to run two alternators

6 batterys is alot seems like more then enough , if it was strictly a spl vehicle with no limit in batterys then id say add more or do a 16 volt system , but for a daily driver 6 batterys should be more then enough , this car would do really good in bass race , id just do a high end battery charger
