- Can you use any material for testing?(Burnt CD?)
- Any rule against quads?
- How many runs? Run length?
- Any other sketchy rules out there?
Ill post more questions as my brain start to work.

In answer to your questions,
In single and double point events, any commercially available CD can be used during competition. CD-R's, CD-RW's and MP3's are not allowed. At TKE (triple point events) events, the official IASCA Max dB2 CD is the only CD that can be used.
No rules against quads, if you got 'em, use 'em! IASCA's take on quad coil subs is that they are an advancement in mobile electronics technology and are commercially available, so why should they be banned?
All IASCA/IdBL events give you a minimum of two runs. When I'm running an IdBL event, if there's enough time I always like to add a third run for those who want to, but it depends on the show promoter.
Run lengths are 30 seconds.
I don't know if you'd call it a sketchy rule, but there is a maximum of two people allowed to "hold down" the vehicle while it's competing. Both of those people must have both feet on the ground. The reason for this rule is because not all competitors at an event have more than two people with them, so if you have a team with say, 8 members, and they're all piled on the vehicle while it's competing, how fair is that for someone who may only have two other people on his team? It's proven that having a lot of people piled on a vehicle can improve its SPL, so this way it's fair for everyone.
If you have any other questions, please email me, I'd be more than happy to answer them for you.

Eg. Car 1 gets it's loudest with 8 people holding it, some on the windshield, some on the roof, etc. And the car gains lots by doing this.
Car 2 gets it's loudest with noone holding the car. If someone holds, the score goes down.
With the rules the way they are now, Car 2 can reach it's maximum spl, while Car 1 cannot.
Just another way to look at it

I hear what you're saying and it makes sense, but do you think that having 8 people piling on top of your vehicle holding the roof and doors down would be equivalent to say strengthening the roof, or strapping the roof and doors?
Mind you, there's no rules in the book that state a Stock division or Advanced Division vehicle can't strap the doors... hmmmmm... sounds like I found a loophole.

This rule seems fair enough to me. Even tho, when I went to the dB Drag in Surrey, I didn't know anyone at all, and ended up havin like 8 guys pile on my car! I don't know if it was just beacause of a small comp, but there's a good vibe around this sport.
