USACi and IASCA Combine World Finals
June 1, 2005
After a series of meetings, IASCA and USACi will present their World Finals Competition events under one roof. On October 15-16, 2005 USACi and IASCA will combine forces to present a unified World Finals event.
Bartle Hall, the site of the previous USACI World Finals will be the venue.
"Kansas City has been a fantastic venue for all of our past finals. The city welcomes our event with open arms and we can expect nothing less for this monumental event," says Ralph Randall, USACI President.
"For many years all of the soundoff orgs have placed their end-of-season competitions in close regional proximity and within the same fiscal quarter" said Paul Papadeas, President of IASCA Worldwide, Inc. "This led to a slump in participation from exhibitors who could not justify or engage the budget to support the various independent events. My research indicates that exhibitors are very willing to increase their support of one Unified World Finals event instead of choosing which season finale to participate in. The ancillary expenses of exhibiting at such events makes it cost prohibitive for them to do them all, therefore choices had to be made. This is big news for the Soundoff scene. Many thought this would never happen, including me, but here we are. I look forward to this as ‘Episode 1’ of a new beginning to a more positive industry driven direction that soundoffs will lead to."
The Mega Event will feature USACI and IASCA Final, a Tuner Jam Custom Car Show, Exhibitor showcase, local and national entertainment, and plenty of excitement for all who attend.
"Along with the Sound-Q and the IdBL SPL contests", Papadeas said, "IASCA will be inviting several of its International affiliation judges to officiate an I.S.Q.C. (International Sound Quality Challenge). Ralph Randall has graciously offered us enough floor space to produce our newest SPL format ‘EVERBLAST Bass Boxing’ a contest that has become quite the spectator event over the last two years. I believe that the event will stimulate more industry attention and competitors support than we have seen in years".
Show dates are: October 15 and 16, 2005. For more information regarding the Unified World Finals please visit www.soundoff.org and www.iasca.com
or call USACI headquarters at 479 750 0505 or IASCA Worldwide Headquarters 386 322 1551.

this year had the makings of the biggest show ever. the bartle hall is 500000 square feet and it was 2/3 full last year with just usaci, this year should be epic, and yes shadow, we just may have to hoist a few. im pretty sure my wife is coming this year, after years of trying to get her even slightly interested in what i do for a life, she is starting to come around. the weather driving there should be nicer as well, last year we encountered some interesting weather in last novermber, it is a long a$$ drive 3200k from here, but worth it. could have a canadian convoy in the making
